ZEBRA
1.0 4-Year-Old Gelded Zebra (first 3 pictures)
Echo is a 4-year-old gelded zebra, hand raised since birth. He is halter broke, up to date on vaccines, and has a strong foundation in groundwork and handling. Intelligent, personable, and very accustomed to people and daily activity.
He has been raised around horses, donkeys, and ponies and accepts them readily as herd companions. Extremely well exposed to commotion and equipment — including vehicles, trailers, construction activity, tractors, fireworks, and even helicopters landing in his pasture — with little concern or fearfulness.
He is friendly and enjoys attention, but buyers should understand that no zebra is domesticated and natural zebra behaviors still apply. While he is as people-broke as a zebra can realistically be, he can become pushy, mouthy, and reactive when pressured or in a sour mood, including biting and kicking behaviors. He requires confident, experienced handling and is not suitable for inexperienced exotic owners.
This is a very people-oriented zebra with far more handling and exposure than most and will require an experienced home that understands and respects the nature of exotic equines if he is to be handled at his next home. .

Hand raised, was halter broke at one point. Has not had a halter on in a long time. Will approach you at the fence or gate almost 100% of the time. Enjoys being pet 50% of the time and hates it 50% of the time.

How to read the consignment list. First # is males Second # is Females and if there is a third number they are unsexed babies. Example 1.2.3 Aoudads 1 Male 2 Female 3 Babies Aoudads.
Also please make sure you have all state paperwork in order at drop off. List of Requirements from the state can be found on our website.
THE STATE REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING
* All male cattle that is 11 months or older and sexually intact must have a Trich Test before bringing to the auction
* All Equine, horses, donkeys, zedonks etc. older than 6 months require a Coggins Test before being brought to auction. ZEBRAS ARE EXEMPT UNLESS COMING OUT OF STATE
*ALL sheep & goats require a scrapie tag; we can do those here for $10.00 each
* CWD Susceptible Species Red Deer, Elk, Reindeer, Sika, Muntjac and any associated subspecies and hybrids require animals to be tagged, and movement paperwork completed at drop off.
*All Bird/Fowl/ Game Bird require a license to sell from the THAC and/or TPWD.
